This Time it’s for my niece.

My barely teen niece asked for a movie to watch.   I have alot of DVDs.  So, here are my recommendations for a need to not be offensive if the six year old walks in on movie, that I own, that a just barely teen girl might enjoy.

Chocolate -(with a french accent if you please) which is an oh so excellent romantic movie with the oh so lovely Johnny Depp.

Final Destination 1 & 2 – Good startle effect with just enough blood to make you go ewwww

Frequency – a little more cerebral, but quite engaging

Darkness Falls – Great Scarey movie – for AFTER the six year goes to bed.  Good to watch with a giggly screamy friend staying overnight.

The Lost Boys – Good looking vampires.  No need to say more.

This is funny, because it’s right on.

Never Date a Leo

Dramatic, egotistical, and emotional – a Leo is way too high maintenance for you!
And forget about a quick fling with an alluring Leo. It’s either everything or nothing with this sign!

Instead try dating: Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, or Cancer

By Request. (Ms. Kellie)

Went Shopping the other night. First I went to TJ Maxx.  I tried on two pair of cords.  One too tight, and one too long, so of course I bought them both.  Do you think there is any chance that one will shrink in length, and one will stretch in width when I was them together?

Bought two shirts to go with them, one is all stripey, with one thin strip of SHINEY glittery silver running through it, the other is a kind of funky acid green yellow & brown tie-dyed thing.

Then, went next door to Dots and bought one thin cute little black shirt.  I wore that yesterday and it will probably be the last time.  It kept pulling up.

My hair is icky today.  I got woken up extra early this morning by a loud crash, and went skittering out to investigate.  I looked out in the driveway to see if someone had hit one of our cars and found the dome light on in my car.  So I found a robe and some shoes and went out into the 25 degree morning dark to see and that’s when I discovered that some one had run down the stop sign that is at the corner of my yard.  Missed my husbands car by about 12 inches.  Found my drivers side door open.  Later we found out that lots and lots of stop signs got rammed, and then the car abandoned.  Bet someone wasn’t happy this morning when they woke up to no car in their driveway.

I’m all dehydrated and drying up like an autumn leaf.  uck.  Lots of water & lots of moisturizer time of year.

Ed’s been in town for the last two days at work, it’s a good thing.  It’s been so hard at work with the changes and it’s good to have someone to laugh and joke with. He goes back to MA this afternoon.

Well, finished my soup, back to work!
