I did have something to say!

Many years ago, the person I worked for bought a building in downtown Toledo.  So we moved our little business into the building.
We had this really nice mailman named Dave.
Over a few years, our little business grew.  Eventually it grew so big that he sold it, and me, to a company on the other side of town.
That company, well to put it succinctly, sucked.
And as soon as possible I quit.
This same person, started another business a few years ago in the same building and I went back to work for him.  Oddly enough, Dave the mailman was still there, and still just as nice.
Company changed names, we went a different direction, we got investors, and now a few more years later that owner is no longer the owner, but I still work for the company.
New owners (investment people) have moved me and my cohorts out of that building and we now lease space elsewhere.  And Dave is still my mailman!  And bless his little heart he has always remembered me and no matter what or where I was made sure I got the mail.
All of this means I now get four business and 10 years accumulated growth of JUNK MAIL!  Ergh.

The moral of the story is, don’t go to work for an entrepreneur.

Tiger Direct is Grrrrr – Reat!

Ordered a switch yesterday,  had it on my doorstep when I ran home this afternoon.  Did I pay for extra fast shipping?  Nope!  Love it!  Also found my book from Amazon on the other doorstep.

What a busy busy week!  Thank goodness for conference calls so I can blog while I listen!  That’s all I’ve been doing.  Working, and working, and working.
I have 87,000 things to write about, but I just don’t have the finger strength to type them all.  So, I’ll select a few based solely on the basis of they’re the first ones that pop out.
Been getting tons of responses to a resume on  Which is odd because I haven’t posted a new one!  I keep one on there and updated because 1. you never know what might come up, and 2. It’s the only place I can keep it where I won’t lose it.  Very strange.
Wow, you know what?  I’m done.  I was going to catch things up but my brain is just going a thousand miles an hour and I’m too distracted!  So, back to work for me.  Back to my normalness – such as it is – soon.
