sorry, had to go private for one day.

~edit! HA !  Changed my mind – went protected instead, which is what I meant to do originally.  Somedays this new fangled technology can be so confusing!

Hey – I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter today which I would never ever normally do. BUT..was talking to someone who had pre-ordered it on Amazon and I was curious so I want to  Slightly cheaper ($.02) but only $.47 for shipping.

In the randomization that is Xanga this picture showed up on the top of my Photo Manager.  I love this picture, I only wish it had been less blurry. The perspective of the shot makes them look reasonably close in size.  They are not  They are from the top, Polly, Jesse and Mili. All three are girls, and all three are giant pains in the ass.  But we love them.

Tonight after work I am going to my nieces final, band concert of Junior High.  I do love my band concerts, so I am quite excited.  Next year I’ll have to upgrade to the High School.

My mouth is feeling a little better today, so I have hope that I’ll have at least one day pain free before they go back in next thursday.

Wow, I am pretty darn boring! So, off I go.

Better late than never.

busy, busy, busy again.  You were correct on all counts MB.  Went to the butterfly house exhibit at the zoo this weekend.  It was very nice.  Butterflies fluttering by, all over the place.  This little guy kindly landed on the sign about butterflies.

We also spent a few minutes watching the gorillas, and the male was acting very possessive of the space.  He kept staring at me, so I looked down and backed up a little.  Then he started staring at my husband, who stared right back and walked forward.  Mr. I own this gorilla meadow and all of it’s inhabitants then charged the window and slammed into it.  Which scared the heck out of me.

Yes, that is a picture of the tattoo on my ankle posted this weekend, and yes it hurt,.  ALOT. I don’t get the whole tattoo thing either, why some of us really love them and want more, and other people are not ever going to do it.  My husband said my next tattoo should be of a wedding ring on my finger. That way for times when I’m all puffy, I can still have my ring on.  Sounds pretty painful to me, but of course I may check into it.

Teeth still hurt alot.  It makes me very sad.  I’ve never had root canals that they did one half and then the rest a couple weeks later. I did some research and it seems like the better way to do it in the long run, but I’m really miserable.  Eating is so time consuming.  I have to eat very slowly and only on one side.  If I forget and the left side comes down to hard or even worse misaligned I make wonderful sounds.  I’m trying to be a big girl and not whine, but I really don’t like long term pain.

And on that happy note!, Off I go.™

Yargh…..I’m slurring my speech and drooling.

Go ahead….get all the comments out now.

I had two root canals done this morning, well not really “done” after two hours they had to stop, and I have to go back in two weeks for another two hour appointment so they can finish.  Lovely.  I have bad teeth.  They look okay, but they just keep going bad.

So, I got up early went to work, did payroll, then went to the dentist, this afternoon I must run to the license bureau (again) then dinner with my sister and clan tonight. 🙂

Food Blog – It was an idea that occurred when reading Viadolorosa’ xanga.  I’m going to do a day of pictures of all the food I eat.  Really, not that exciting.  She takes pictures on her trips and she takes pictures of all the food.  She travels to places that I will never go, but I bet she’s never going to eat in Toledo, Ohio so I’m going to share my days worth of food with her.  I keep trying but I only make it halfway through the day and food.  Hmm, maybe today.  Or tomorrow, or Saturday.

Tattoo – yes that is a tattoo on my ankle.  I had it done about a year ago, It’s a half sun face/half moon face.  I drew it out, then took it to a friend that does tattoos, he drew it his way, colored it and then laughed maniacally as he inflicted huge amounts of pain on me as he poked me with an electric needle full of ink.  I thought I had a picture on here of it, but I can’t find it.  I’ll take another one today, or have my daughter do it for me so it’s actually recognizable.  My camera doesn’t well at that angle or distance.

I dumped my husbands Atlanta pictures online if anyone is interested.  New Camera phone, so not the best pictures.  Only in my family would a husband send a wife a picture of the back of a computer.  We’re such geeks.

Alright, off I go to sip tea through a straw in lieu of real food.

Just like Rabbit from my favorite childhood stories.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!  I have been so so productive this week, but at a loss of my irreverant xanga’ing.

So, here’s my new shoes up on my desk, with my feet in them!

I forgot that I had taken the picture until reminded.  I have my camera with me, but didn’t have the cable.  I wandered out and one of my guys has a card reader on his laptop, so he retrieved the pictures off of my camera for me.  Which of course meant that he then saw my strange collection of pictures.  Food, for a food blog.  Feet for a shoe blog, plants for a plant album.  My goodness, that’s the way to earn respect.

I have more busy going on tomorrow, and then all back to normal on Friday.

So, keep on typing.

I’ve got plenty of nothing….

My husband and I have gotten so lazy that we never have any new arguments, but we repeat the same old ones on a very regular basis.  One of the arguments is over…Oprah.  He has the instant dislike of her that so many people seem to get.  I think it’s based on the fact that she gets publicity for doing good things.  So because she gets publicity for it, it’s no longer a good thing.  I hear this argument (though not in those words) from other people as well.  You know, she gave away 100 cars,  – well yeah, but she didn’t buy those cars, they were given to her, yeah…but Ford wouldn’t have gone to those 100 peoples houses and said hey, here’s you new car, if it wasn’t for the Oprah show and the publicity. ( I don’t know how many cars it was, or who the manufacturer was)

Sure she got all sorts of press for opening a school in a poverty stricken country that doesn’t educate their girl children.  But those children are still going to get educated even if she did get publicity.  Then the next arguement is that she has so much money, that what she gave is nothing, she could do more.  And again, I respond so, at least she’s doing something. My final argument is always, what have you done for someone recently.    I say Oprah, but I hear it all the time about other people who have alot of money and do something for people less fortunate, and it’s reported.  I think it’s an envy thing.  I think people hear the stories, and just don’t want to hear anything good about someone who has that much money.

I wish I was able to fix things.  Wallpaper, paint, tile, drywall; all of those things.  Life would be so much simpler.  I just can’t though.  I don’t have the gene. I’ve tried.  It always ends badly.

Uh-oh!  BRB – the person who keeps standing me up for lunch is IM”ing me! – nothing imperative.  Just chit-chat.

I woke up an hour early this morning and could not fall back to sleep.  Now I’m a little sleepy.  Maybe I’ll go find some tea.  Just plain old Lipton tea to add some spark.

Oh WAIT!  Bought my gazillionth pair of shoes on Friday.  I believe they are borderline ugly.  BUT! they are little strappy heals AND they are very very comfortable. Dressier, but still casual.  Perfect for a denim skirt, which is my summer must.

All right, off I go.

I’m just a Rambling, traveling man….

My husband just called my cell phone, and I missed the call.  I called him back in about 20 seconds.  This is the transcript of our conversation:

Me:  Hi Honey

Him:  Hi, I just wanted to call you from the top of Stone Mountain.

Me:  What the heck is Stone Mountain

Him:  It’s a mountain……….In Georgia.

Me:  Oh

Him:  I have to go now, I’m climbing down the mountain.

Me:  Um, Okay.  Bye.

My husband is odd, and it’s very difficult for me to have sympathy for him when he talks about work.  I never get sent to Georgia, and get to climb moutains on a Sunday.  I was however scrubbing the floor when he called.

Picture stolen from some random googling.  Very interesting history about this mountain.

but the dawn is breaking…

Last night, or very early this morning depending on your perspective someone googled Tracy Xanga and yup, I’m the first one on the list.  I feel so special.  I’d like to thank the academy and my family, but most of all I want to thank you my fans, without you there to buy my albums I would never have been able to afford the boob job that allowed me to wear this $40,000 dress that I didn’t have to pay for.  What was I saying?

I am all over the place today.  I just can’t concentrate.  I’m guessing it’s a side effect of either the new BP medicine, or the thryroid stuff.

Found two new online serials to read.  If you go to you’ll find them too.  I have broken down and ordered some of the books as well.  I must do my part to support authors I like. And,ooooo I love them Zombies!

Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?

Does anyone out there who takes the synthroid wish to report any side effects to me?  I’m only on my 5th day.  I had lunch with someone yesterday who told me horror stories about long term use of it. ~sigh…nothing is ever easy.  I have to email a realtor today about starting the search for new office space.  My predecessor screwed him over last year, but I hope that doesn’t spill over onto his feelings for me.  I really liked him, and really want to give him our business.  Don’t want to move, but can’t wait to be in a new place!  Matter of fact, think I’ll go do that now. Bye….

Yes, I am unoriginal and a copycat. Sue me.

She did it first.  I stole it.

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.
