Sunday Snaps

I realized today that I had stopped taking quick little pictures of things that caught my attention.  I thought about it and realized it was because of my new phone.  Because my phone fits in my pocket so easily I rarely take my purse on my weekend adventures, it usually stays locked in the car trunk.  So, here are a couple of things that caught my attention in my front yard today.

My morning glories.  I love them, but I understand why some people consider them weeds.  I haven’t planted Morning Glories in four years.  They just keep reseeding.
Our favorite beagle Jesse, blending in with the yard.

Our favorite husband doing what husbands should be doing on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  His car first, then mine. 🙂  I swear if someone parked their car in our driveway on a Sunday he wouldn’t even think about it, he would just wash it.
Have a great Sunday world.

  1. looks like you are enjoying your Sunday.

  2. Doesn’t your new phone have a camera in it?

  3. I’m bringing  my van over! ( I wish) after this road trip to Illinois it’s dusty and streaked from hands opening and closing doors! I love you flowers. Enjoy them while they are still there! I have a small patch of lobiela still in bloom and I go look at everyday just to say thanks for lasting so long!

  4. I thought it was a wonderful sunday too

  5. I’ll be parking my car next sunday.
    It’s diiiiiiiiiiiirty.
    Nice pics

  6. Love those morning glories. The picture sharpness on my mobile phone is nowhere near that good, it’s a great way of capturing pics though. Thanks for showing the rest of us Xanga addicts, what caught your eye this weekend.

  7.  Good way to spend a Sunday.   With nice weather to go on have a blast.

  8. I love Morning Glories.  I have often tried to plant Moonflowers with them but never had much success.I’ll be by next Sunday with my blue van.  David is learning the fine art of mowing and he drove the mower down our rock (but mostly dust) drive and now the van is covered in dust.Jesse is such a cutie.  What a great yard for a dog!Hope tomorrow is a great day!

  9. *That’s* what I forgot to do yesterday – wash my car.  We attacked Steve’s last week, and I meant to do mine yesterday at my parents’ house, but I got wrapped up in homework, football, and air conditioning.  I love the photos!

  10. Gee, I should bring my vehicals over as we live on a gravel rode so they are always dirty.  Love the flower photos.  I took some of my flowers but they got hit by the frost so are no longer very pretty.  Have a great week!

  11. I love morning glories.  We have the same colour as your’s here, also one a darker purple and a pale pink, and some tiny ones that smell like marshmallows.

  12. RYC: Oh yes lady, you’ve had me in fits of laughter many times. Why do you think I keep coming back for more? *hugs*
