On Saturday I took my webcam home and plugged it into the laptop my husband gave me. (well my daughter brought it home to me) Took me a few hours to get it working. (driver issues) It’s not a very good camera, because it’s old. Which of course in the current world of technology means over six months old. I like that it’s not very good, because everything is nicely fuzzy. Not to sharp, can’t see all my flaws. So, I pointed it at my Christmas tree, and then said, done!
Then on Sunday night, my sister popped on and said “oh, that’s so cool that you have sound on yours” Of course being my sister, I just assumed she was lying. After much testing, I did finally realize that yes, I have sound! Good thing I didn’t have a lot of visitors! Oh, the things you might have heard. Took another half hour to figure out that my husband gave me a laptop with a buildt in mcrophone that I don’t seem to be able to turn off! I did however turn the volume all the way down.
Of course, now, I’m at work, and I no longer have a camera here. It was fun while it lasted. I love new things to play with.
My sister and I had a lovely time shopping on Saturday. I bought lots of stuff, and even some Christmas presents. Then we had a nice lunch and laughed. Sunday, I read and ate.
I plan on having a busy week, I’ve finished off most of my Monday stuff, and now am back to working on collecting data and reports for some visitors that will be in my office on Thursday.
I have sneezed at least 37 times today. I believe I am about to get a cold. Which means, by Thursday I will be a red nosed, sniffy mess. Nothing like making a great first impression!
I had strange dreams last night about poeple that I haven’t seen for awhile. It involved a trip to a bar, a gift of a recliner, a person showing up unexpectedly with a wife, and another person showing up with a baby, that turned out to be a cute little black dog. 🙂 Good Stuff those dreams.
