Paparazzi wannabe

My husband and I went to Paneras last night for dinner (broccoli cheddar soup and half a chicken salad sandwich) but mostly so I could get a Latte with Almond syrup.  As we stood in line a woman walked in and I stage whispered "She has my hair!".

This woman had somehow read my blog and gone out and gotten her hair dyed exactly the same way I want my hair to look!  I’m sure of it!

I thought to myself, this is perfect.  I’ll sneak a photo of her with my phone and that way when I make the appointment to get it colored I can show the stylest exactly what I want.  Sadly she was to quick for me.  I am not above sneaking around and taking a photo of someone, however she’s apparently had some experience hiding from the press.  She sat at a table that was in the perfect spot to keep me from sneaking up on her.

So, I gave up and did the right thing.  That’s right, I manned up!  I walked up to this poor woman and said, "excuse me, can I take a picture of your hair?"  She was very nice, and I’m sure flattered.

Sadly it was a camera phone in a not particularly well lit restaurant.

 Random Woman at Paneras

My plan today was to get up early, go out and mow the front yard for my morning calorie burn, then take a shower and go get my hair trimmed.  My husband was out futzing around in the yard and when he came in I asked him if it looked like it was going to rain, and if the grass was dry enough to mow.  He said, no rain, and yes dry.  I walked outside stepped in the very wet grass and was greeted by thunder.  I wonder sometimes if he lives in the same dimension as the rest of us.

Have a good Saturday!
