Positively Positive

In general I’m an optimistic person.  I believe in the power of positive thinking, and the power of negative thinking.  I think if all you ever talk about is negative things that you are somehow drawing these negative things to you.
When I read someones; livejournal, facebook, xanga, and they need some good luck I somehow feel like a fairy godmother giving them a gentle tap with my sparkly wand when I say something positive.  For instance when someone writes about a friend or relative who is ill and I say “I hope they are better today”  Really in my head I am saying “POOF!, And they are better today!”.  I imagine people read my comments sometimes and think I’m an idiot.   🙂
Conversely when someone leaves me a comment that says “I hope your eyeball doesn’t fall out and roll into the gutter and get eaten by rats” I somehow feel that they are cursing me.
Isn’t that bizarre?

I just moved the webcam to show the guys unloading a truck into the office directly below us.  More entertaining than my desk. Though no one is watching anyway!

I am listening to a call that has nothing to do with me.  And there are so many different accents!  I hear a southern accent (Georgia), a midwesterern, some sort of Scandanavian, and we’re waiting for Farid to join who has a definite middle eastern type of accent.  Fantastic.

Someone on the call just used the analogy of “It’s like someone has died, and then poof they come back” when talking about back up servers.  Not a normal networking type of analogy

I think I will start signing everything with Love & Bubbles, T.

Bubbles will be my new symbol..

Edit! (Thanks Natalia)
