This week

I will try to keep my patience.

I will try to be more sympathetic

I will be strong but kind

And now a word from our sponsors.

Love This commercial

Quick Pics

Ran across this at a busy intersection.  Difficult to get good detail on a camera phone, so I’ll tell you they were in fact advertising a Lazy Boy sale.

And now bring on the cute.

This is Sam.  Sam spent the day in my office.  He is sleeping on the floor under my desk.  Of course this meant I couldn’t reach my laptop.  I was okay with that.

This is Sam on Mikes Desk.

This is Sam on Matts Lap.

You can tell how much we all hate dogs can’t you?

The smell of toasted bread makes me nauseated.  I do not understand that.

So this is what happened, as many of you figured out from my celebration of National Pee in a Jug day, it was time for my six month kidney testing.  This particular round coincided with a bunch of other tests that I was also having done through my GP.  Some pretty innocuous.  I am spoiled by my GP.  When I have tests of any kind done, she sends me a letter the same day she gets the results.  So I’m used to getting blood tests done and within three days having the results in my mailbox. So I had all of the kidney and blood work done last thursday and every day I’ve been going home and looking at the mail and nothing.

Yesterday I was trying to think of a graceful way to call the office and say I know it’s been less than a week but I’m use to you guys being extra great and where are my results?  Instead when I got home yesterday I had a notice from my insurance commpany that someone had rquested approval for additional appointments for the nephrologist and it had been approved.  Someone somewhere got my results and decided things were not better.  Just bummed me out all night.  I go see the nephrologist next Tuesday.  Hopefully today when I get home I’ll have the results of all the other tests at least.

Somedays I wish that they had not discovered the kidney disease because then I would not have to worry about it.  The ‘what you don’t know can’t hurt you’ mentality.  It’s not like I can do anything about it either way.

And that is all I have to say about that right now!  I have another post inside of me, but do not have the time to create all the links, so this may be a two-fer.

I leave you with a picture of my office guest today.

Not worthy of a title!

I’m feeling kind of sad now, does anyone want to tell me a joke during the Big Brother commercials?

I wonder if there is a “lets talk about BB” Blog ring.

Pretty as a…

Today when I opened up my subscriptons in Xanga, the first three blogs listed had flower pictures!  So it looked like this;

Well, it looked a lot bigger but that’s what happens when you do a screen shot!  Isn’t that a gorgeous way to start a day?

I hope the three of you don’t mind that I stole your pictures to put on mine!
