 I have been uninterested in blogging lately.  There were no interesting stories to tell, and nothing fun to record for posterity.  That’s what I try to use my Xanga for.  Recording the small things that I will forget.  Now that I’ve typed that I realize there have many events, I’ve just not been feeling noteworthy.

Last week I spent a few hours purchasing many many things online.  Best Christmas shopping ever!  This week and next I expect the mailman to begin to hate me.   I’ve been practising my bargain hunting and finding fun things on line that give me discounts.  Oddly, I took a break from typing (to work, imagine that) and then I got a twitter about a clearance deal.  so I went here;
1.99 for Pyrex baking dishes.  I ordered four.  Ground shipping for $6.95 and then 20% off my order for being a new customer.  Good Deal! One of the dishes I ordered will replace the one my husband broke a couple of weeks ago.

I have one Christmas shopping story that I can’t tell you because there is no way to avoid saying what I bought.  But I will write it down after Christmas.  I guarantee I will not be forgetting this one though!

This week out of nowhere my husband decided instead of a trip to the Grand Canyon for our February vacation we should take a cruise.  So, I found one and booked it!   We we take a short 4 night cruise to the Bahamas and back.  On this ship:

Then yesterday I booked flights, and today I’ll book the hotel for before and after.  The cruise departs from Cape Caneveral/Cocoa Beach so I will give us one full day after to stay there and enjoy the area.  The hotel does a package where they will pick you up from the Airport, bring you to the hotel and then the next day take you to the pier.  If you stay after the cruise as well they upgrade your room, and take you back to the Airport.  Good deal.  Maybe I’ll run into Jeanie when I’m exploring the area and she will grant me some wishes.  I’m pretty excited now and will be unable to keep myself from talking about it.  73 days and counting.

My co-worker found this ad this morning.  If I were you I would wait for the gaming system to go off sale before purchasing.  Sorry, you’ll have to click and enlarge to get the joke.

Birthday Day!

Happy Birthday

Mary Beth!

I hope it’s a wonderful Day!

Stephen King is making me fat!

I haven’t worked out all week because I come home and read!  I had to skip Yoga last night because of an appointment with the blister beetle doctor.

Luckily I came home to a delivery of my favorite tea, so I can curl up and drink some almond oolong while reading.  I think I’ll eat bon bons too.

Oh…Hmmm, the doctor upped my BP med dosage so I have to leave soon to go pick the pills.  Maybe I’ll swing by Boston Market for a nice rotisserie chicken dinner.  I wonder how much reading I can get done while driving.
