This has got to be some of the ugliest frozen food I have ever seen.
Yes, it really is that color.
However, it tasts just fine!
I’ve been cleaning my computer all morning instead of working. I had so many icons on my desktop that I only had room to save three more before it went to -> Next Page.
I have a new filing system on my work laptop. I created Folders for NotePad, Word, Excel, PDF and PPT and throw all of my “I can’t decide to delete this” files in them. I always remember what type of file I save something as even if I don’t remember where or what I called it.
Today is my daughters 22nd birthday. I must admit I get a little maudlin when I think of my kids as babies. I just can’t believe I will never be able to get that back. I have a hard time picturing my six foot 23 year old coming at me with his arms reaching to be picked up and hugged. Or my beautiful little girl of 22 flying at me with all her energy and grabbing me around the legs to say hello. Oh wouldn’t it be wonderful to experience that overwhelming rush of love again?
(my asian soba noodles in sesame sauce are making my nose run!)
Started reading Her Fearful Symmetry last weekend and haven’t been able to pick it up since Sunday. 😦 I am very carefully reading it a chapter at a time to slow myself down. It’s the thing with books, you can only discover them once.
Ooops! Lunch time over! Back to work.
HAHAH – Silly me, my only edit was to add a tile. 🙂
When I woke up this morning I felt something cold and hard in the middle of my bed. It was my cell phone. Apparently I had gone to bed with my cell phone in the pocket of my uber soft and cozy fleece mens jammy bottoms. It occurs to me that hilarity could have ensued had the phone rang in the middle of the night, since I keep it on vibrate.
This may be the most adorable picture my daughter has ever taken.
This is the real Ottoman Empire.
Jesse loves her footstool.
The real post will be “privately” shown later.
I am going to have that song stuck in my head all day now!
I have woken up entirely to early for a Saturday. In a few minutes I’ll catch up on Heroes. Then in a couple of hours I’ll go do a quck workout, then a new Saturday morning Yoga class. I’m hoping to do both Wednesday and Saturday yoga for at least the next six weeks.
Chris was right, after my lapse in working out, the muscle definition in my arms is coming back very quickly. (Do you all know Chris? Excellent resource for muscle questions [look at his picture you’ll understand why] and intelligent, witty with a touch of bawdy thrown in!) Back in the sleeveless shirts by cruise time. 🙂
Oh, and while we’re telling people they’re right…Tami you were also right. The nurse was wrong. Since they stopped playing with my thyroid medicine and just put me on a full dose I’ve lost 15 pounds. That’s all of the weight I put on when they started playing around with the thyroid medicine so that’s good. Nothiing more frustrating than eating what you are supposed to, getting in lots of exercise and gaining weight.
Feeling good. Healthy and strong. I believe I could kick some ass.
I have to stop now because the beagle is jealous that I am typing and not petting.
I typed this without my glasses (which are tri-focals!) so please excuse any oddness in the spelling!
