I have noticed that my vacations increase by two days every time I take one.  In eighteen months I’ll be up to a full two weeks. 🙂

Here is my version of the vacation;Photo Sharing by MyPhotoAlbum :: Tracy’s MyPhotoAlbum :: Bahamas Cruise – Tracys Pictures

Lots of stories to tell of course, but today I have stuff to catch up on, so here are some highlights.
Day 1 – Easy good travel… Teeny Tiny Hotel room!
Day 2  – Onto Ship, overwhelmingly big..Beautiful day..drinks, dinner…sleep.
Day 3 – Little wobbly, So much food! Absolutely beautiful.  Little windy.  Finding our way around. BAD comedian!
Day 4 – Rain…Nassau…Atlantis…Rain…Wind…All in All…okay.
Day 5 – UH OH!  Rough water!  70 % of the ship seasick!  Including me.  Cruise director said roughest it’s been in months.
Day 6 – Get me off of this rolling thing!  Easy disembarking back to hotel.  Room upgrade, beautiful!  Walk on the beach, windy and cool but beautiful.
Day 7 – Rainy and Cold all day.  Stayed in the hotel watching TV and reading. 🙂 Actually kind of nice.
Day 8 – Travel Day…Few delays, nothing to bad.  Home safe and sound.

  1. Hope your all rested and refreshed!

  2. Not so bad I suppose! The ship look massive! Did you find your room to be small and clausterphobic? Can you open the window? That’s probably one of my only reasons for not looking into a cruise – I heard the rooms are like closets. Hope you had a most awesome time despite the rough seas.

  3. @Muzwah – Thanks!  I could use another week, or month or something. 😉@Kissedbyadog – No, I couldn’t open the window. I have issues with claustrophobia. If I feel trapped I start going a little panicky, so I was worried about the room.  I did not have any problems with this room.  It was small, but not scary.  It was probably 11 feet wide, and 15 long  plus a small hallway and a very small bathroom!  And we had a “deluxe” room! I would never get the least expensive room. Those are smaller, and have only a porthole.  That would be too much for me.

  4. Too bad the ocean was rough. Nice pics, the beach at Cocoa Cay looks private and peaceful. Thanks for sharing.

  5. The pictures are beautiful.  You have such a good eye.I wondered about the room, too.  I have huge claustrophobia issues and don’t think I could do a cruise.  While you were gone, it was being reported in the news about a cruise ship where people were sick with a virus.  I was hoping that wasn’t your ship.  What  a shame you had such rough seas.Hope the trip was refreshing!

  6. It is too bad that you had rough weather, but it still looks like it was a lovely trip!

  7. Catching up here and finding you had a fun time on your cruise!  Like MB said, I am glad you escaped getting sick!  My son is going on a cruise for spring break, and I worry he will come back too sick to go to classes, lol!Kathi

  8. sorry about the rough seas… it can take some of the fun out of cruising, but it looks like you had a terrific time anyhoo…..

  9. enjoy seeing your photos!
