Boo hiss…

1. Tired of ice on my windshield

2. I think I have a fever.  Wish I didn’t catch every single virus that goes by.

3. Guy I work with might have a fever too

4. Other guy in office may be very lonely tomorrow

5. Reading my subs and saw one titled “Damnit Tracy” made me laugh. ( I think that’s what it was, to eh…to go verify now)

6. Daughter is volunteering at the Humane Society. Good place for her.

7. Not working out again today.  Screw it.

8. Got a new TV for the livingroom this weekend which means all TV’s are downgraded by a room.  This means I know have a ginormous totally out of place television in my bedroom.

9. This one time, a few years ago, I went an entire month without catching a cold, or the flu or food poisoning.  I wish I could blame this on my germ ridden sister but there is no way I caught it from her, brought it into work and gave it to other guy just yesterday and he’s already feeling it.  That’s like Captain Tripps kinda speedy.

  1. I’m curious, does the ice just wipe off or does it stick to the glass a little? I’m a bit naive about ice and snow situations. Hope you beat the flu, dang, sick is such a waste of time.

  2. @wematter – Well I will happily trade places with you next winter so you can get a first hand experience. :)The ice does form directly on the glass, and stick. Just like frost in your freezer.  Most people will use an ice scraper to remove it from their windows.  Looks like a hard plastic spatula with teeth.  I however am short and easily annoyed so I start my car and turn on the defrost until it all melts.

  3. @tracy – lol, k thanks, your way sounds like “the way” to go, read the paper while it melts.

  4. Oh that is stinky that you are sick again.Ice??? Hasn’t it warmed up there yet?  I guess I shouldn’t tell you it is in the 60s here and may be 70 by the end of the week.  But alas it is March and I know it will get cold again.Feel better soon!

  5. Jerry Lundegaard knows all about the frustration of an iced-over windshield.  He provides a pretty precise example of what we go through every day in the winter months: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJWapd21-_8

  6. @joshgulch – . Ahh yes, we’ve all been there. Good clip.

  7. ICE? dang, hope it warms up for you soon! Get some rest and maybe it will by the time you feel better! We did the same tv thing about a month ago. I’m getting used to the big one in the bedroom tho. It’s on a tall dresser, between two wardrobe thingys, so it looks sorta like a big flat screen. It was harder to get used to the flat screen on the wall, I didn’t think I’d like it higher than it was on the stand. Still seems strange, but I like it now.  Feel better!

  8. Jeeez…. well, I hope you feel better fast. try to get some rest!!!

  9. Sorry you are feeling under the weather.  Yikes, Toledo must be ice town.  Our weather is more just plain weird.  Low forties and chilly today, 65-70 tomorrow, and by Saturday and Sunday, we are expecting snow.  What a pendulum of hell!  :-pKathi

  10. Other guy at work is indeed lonely here today :C

  11. Tuesday sucked all the way around.  Hope it’s better by now.
