Whoring it up.

I was setting up an account on AARP for my husband (whose birthday is today) this weekend and I stumbled upon a how long will you live quiz.  So I took it and it says I will live until I am 91.

That’s when I remembered my promise to myself.  Back when I was getting diagnosed with bizarre things left and right and changing everything and getting all “healthy” I decided that when I am 75 I will say enough.  That’s when I will start smoking again, do a lot of drinking, maybe smoke a little dope, and sleep around.  I’m happy to see that I’ll have time to enjoy it.

Hold onto your men folk ladies.

  1. me too…I’ve actually thought the same thing..with the exception of seeing lots of men…don’t know if after 75 years, I’ll be able to stand men…I tell you…if I could be a lesbian, I would do it!!!!

  2. I love a ‘big stinky’ and yes, I’m talking about cigars and not men.  Got one sitting a foot away ready to burn! (A. Fuente – Hemmingway king from soon to be SIL for when I pretend to be a writer)TMI?!?  One of my issues with AARP is that they claim to be the ‘largest lobbying’ in DC and I don’t always agree with what they say – not that I’m old enough…  Cousin and C-in-law figured it out – she’s a member and gets the discounts while he’s not and ‘votes’ against her.  As for that age thing – Grandmother I never knew died at 54, another at 97, mom is 78 and her sister is 87 – I don’t want to do the math, but I’ve got some cigar smoking time left in me!!! (might I recomment Baccarat kings)HB, hubby!!!

  3. Happy Birthday to your Hubby!  I see he really knows how to live it up.  Hahaha!91!  Good for you!  Live it up and have a grand time.  Well, I don’t really want to smoke or drink but I’d do a doobie or two or a thousand.    Just don’t tell my kids!@Ninasusan – Hahaha!

  4. In the news today is Janey Cutler who wowed everyone on Britain’s Got Talent with her amazing voice. She’s 81 and at the start of a new career.  Way to go…..

  5. Every time I see the title of this post it just cracks me up!  Tracy – You are the bee’s knees!

  6. yeah, enjoy your days!

  7. 91?? holey moley… are you gonna be the belle of the nursin home.

  8. Some of my pants are already that embarrassingly short.  It’s only a matter of time

  9. My wife and I are laughing at your post.  Gotta think about that one.

  10. @vexations – Glad I could entertain. 🙂
