Apparently I’m only going to talk about food, and blog pictures from here on out!

Food first

Have you tried these?

NUM!  I also bought chocolate covered frozen bananas.  I’ve been having an awful craving for ice cream lately.

My guacamole at lunch was too spicy.  Hate that!  Am I the only person who loves mexican food but hates jalepeno’s?

Went to the museum to see a 60’s psychedic poster exhibit.  Pretty cool.  Wandered around until my feet hurt.

Found an empty exhibit. in the silver room!

Funny little room they have.

Loved the Buddha

Here is my real life version of Buddha

I thought this painting was amazing.  It’s done on ivory.  Don’t know if you can see but the carving on the ivory frame is remarkable.

I was trying to get some good storm pictures but I just couldn’t.  We were right on the front edge of it the whole drive home.

I kind of like the raindrops and smeared sky one mostly because of  the tree in the middle.  I like motion captured.

I really enjoy the museum and I think it’s one of the things my city can be very proud of.  It’s not so big you can’t walk in a day, but you’re feet will get tired!

We wandered through an exhibit that wasn’t completed yet, so nothing was tagged.  It was fun (well, for me) trying to figure out what the commonalities were.

  1. i like mexican food but hate jalapenos.the strawberry fruit bars remind me of my breast surgery seven years ago.

  2. How interesting the museum is! Some of those paintings are just incredible.

  3. @lilms_sassy – eww, I will now be associating Strawberry bars with breast surgery. @Oz_girl – We really do have a lovely museum.  From Monet to Manet, which some Warhol in between. And it’s a very beautiful building in itself.

  4. It’s been awhile since I visited our museum. We have a good one also. I like the motion on the storm pic too. 🙂 a good blur.

  5. Those coconut bars looked wonderful!  Any milk in those?Craig and I both can’t take hot, spicy foods.  Can’t do jalepenos. He does look like he is a Buddha.Amazing craving on that frame.Scary storm pictures. The guys are watching a scary Xfiles and I am trying to type quietly.

  6. Love the ivory pic and the raindrops!

  7. @skanickadee – sadly the first ingredient is skim milk.  It’s more like ice milk with coconut.  Otherwise it would be like a 600 calories!

  8. @tracy – Oh, so sad but I can’t complain, Whole Foods has some wonderfully delicious ice cream sandwiches that are made with coconut milk. Yummy!

  9. You have fruit bars, I have fudge bars, all good medicine!

  10. lol@your own version of Buddha, the belly needs a little work I think  Absolutely love that last pic, can almost hear the pattering of those raindrops on the car roof
