Today I saw my new Primary Care physician for the first time.
She gave me my very first EKG. There is nothing wrong with my heart though she did make an odd comment about the results! My chest was still very sore and she did an EKG to just double check. I have damaged the joint in your chest that holds your ribs together. She tested this by pushing. It was very exciting for me. OUCH! They don’t call it a sternum injury. I think because the sternum is the actual bone? I don’t know. I do know that it hurts, and I will be taking it easy. No yoga tomorrow. I called Daisy and we are going to work out, but I will only do the leg machines.
She also checked my thoracic outlet syndrome and tsk’d me because I haven’t had the surgery. So she said, hold up your right arm, then she found my pulse and said, look left. Yup, no more pulse! I laughed. I know that I just can’t look left. DUh…
On our trip to Florida it was the first time I ever had to explain what White Toast meant. I told our waiter I would like White Toast instead of pancakes and he said, “White Toast? Like, White bread, Toasted?” It was the funniest thing.
Got a call from the body shop in Florida that is the current home of our car. They let us know that the insurance adjuster had not been out there yet. This was not a first. Whatever.
Had a couple of loops thrown at me as soon as I got to work, and then throughout the day. Also, not a first. 🙂 I am really lucky that I have the job that I do, and the people that I do.
For lunch I ate an Amy’s Light and Lean Soft Taco something for the first time. Good stuff!
That picture may be bigger than I intended!
