Just stopping by.

My entire office packed up and came to Texas for a week to meet up with a few others and work out of our Plano office. So Tired and so full of food.  Still at work but I thought I would share a picture of us at a fantastic dinner hosted by our Swedish visitors to celebrate a company anniversary. The picture does not quite capture the whole table so some are missing.

Brad, Per, Steve, Reinaldo, Jason, Paul & Tracy

Hmmm, I can’t tell from the picture if I am holding the champagne or the wine. It’s a tough job. 🙂

  1. nice.  : )how are you feeling?  getting around alright?  when does treatment begin?

  2. @ofunlo – exhausted and oh so sore! But thanks for asking. 🙂  Just found out treatment starts next week.

  3. Still sore, poor kid.  I bet those libations help!    But really, I am sorry you are still sore and tired.I’m also sorry that treatment is starting next week.  I know you wanted to get out to Iowa before it started.  Well. the sooner it is started the sooner it will be over, right?I am glad you are working for a company that seems to appreciate their employees.  I bet everyone was glad to see you.Take care!  Nice to hear how it is going!

  4. Hope Texas treated you well!

  5. Thanks so much for your comment… you are one of the ones I feel guilty for not being more supportive… you are however a most wonderful example for me to follow, you are strong and brave and upbeat… and I hope to deal with my stuff half as well as you do! (((((hugs))))))

  6. @beadbrat – I would not have been able to cope with anyone elses diagnosis within those first couple of weeks. Please don’t think twice about it. Thank you for the wonderful compliment.  I’m hear if you ever want to; ask, tell, cry, or laugh.

  7. @skanickadee – I am very very lucky!  Next week is a little disappointing, and disconcerting. It really bummed me out today. I guess a part of me though it would just never ever start. 😦 But, it’s been a few hours since the call and I’m back to coping. 🙂

  8. I’m glad you and Beth know each other.  You are two of the nicest people on Xanga, and both stalwart and courageous.  I love you both!Firstly, I missed the cute post with the dogs and hippy restaurant.  I sure like that mirror, too!  They SELL stuff there (besides food) – cool!  Your dogs are so cute!  I have totally bonded with mymini Aussie granddog, lol.  He is awesome!  My soon took him over to “socialize” with my brother’s Irish Setter!  The setter “cried” when Reece left!  I took some pics, and will post them soon.I’m glad you got to go to Texas, even though it was for work.  Nice to have a change of scenery before your treatment begins.  Kathi

  9. @Still_groovy – Thanks Kathy.  Beth is a wonder. Just a truly nice person, I’m sorry she’s having to go through this right now. My daugher brings her Australian Blue Heeler over to play with my giant dog and it’s the funniest thing ever!

  10. The wine looks nice and I would have helped you finish it but I am not in Texas.  I’m in New York and I am already drinking beer.

  11. Looks like you enjoyed yourself… I hope you’re feeling much better than can be expected.

  12. @TheCrimesOfDougMoe – The wine was very nice.  And now I am happily home with my little family.
