Today I was flushed!

My port that is. It got all cleaned out today. It’s a couple of pretty good pokes with a special needle then they throw some saline and heparin in it. Yank the needles back out and pop a couple of band-aids on and done.

This is my port.

It’s always bruised because I just don’t have enough fat on my chest so it sits right on the bone and everytime anything touches it, I bruise. I really have grown accustomed to it. I’m use to reaching up and touching it. I will miss it when it’s gone.

This is my port up closer.

I started thinking maybe I could decorate it.

I little sharpie could make a big difference.

All in all a good day.
