All About Food!

I’ve been making a list of all the foods I know I can eat. I keep finding myself without any food because I haven’t stocked up. here’s my list so far:

Rice with Sauces
Special K rice chips
Crispy Rice noodles
Rice Chex
rice soups
rice noodles
rice noodle bowls
gluten free breads
canned green beans
butternut squash soup
pizzas with no veggies
wheat noodles in moderation
Sweet Potatoes
potato chips
baked beans with veggie dogs cut up in them
refried beans
processed cheese
Protein bars – moderate fruit-Not high fiber
Quiche / Savory bread pudding (this is a new find! NUM!)
Cooked Mushrooms
Avocados (sadly out of season)
Trader Joes Reduced Guilt Skinny Fries (excellent with hummus)
Trader Joes Pumpkin Soup

Things to try:

Lean Cuisine – Fettuccine Alphredo

I know it’s not exciting food, but it’s a whole lot more than I could eat a few months ago! You can find lots of ways to mix things and make them different.  And really, I can eat anything I want as long as it’s in terribly small portions. Usually I just steal a bite or two of my husbands food to help my cravings for things I shouldn’t eat.

I’m sure there’s more, I just can’t think of them right now.

  1. I miss sweet potatoes and that’s a lot of rice related food. Can never go wrong with rice!

  2. That isn’t a lot but like you said the list is growing. Last time you were here, you ate pizza with veggies – did that make you sick? Are you juicing anymore?

  3. Sour cream and onion potato chips.  And as all the staff at St. Anne’s tells BFF daily….Gatorade.  (Notice the answer to your question hidden so well in my comment?  LOL)

  4. Eggs are a good thing. And sweet potatoes are totally gonna happen tomorrow. I almost think I should have bought some so I can make a dish and ensure the existence of such food at one of the two feasts I’ll be attending. But no, I decided to make buffalo chicken dip and no-bake pie.

  5. @TheEmeraldPixie – You’re very slick! 🙂 I spent my morning at Hickman Cancer Center at Flower Hospital. Lovely people.

  6. @BoureeMusique – I think eggs & sweet potatoes really kept me from turning into a weak skinny nothing! They are definitely super foods. I hope you have a lovely holiday Ms. Emily.

  7. I like veggie pizzas without meat. .. I am so backwards. Sorry you were stuck in the evil center.I hope tomorrow is enjoyable.

  8. @z_stands_for – Thanks! I am vegetarian so I really like pizza’s with veggies! Center was all well and good. 🙂
